SWOT

Strengths

My strengths are having the ability to communicate to anyone in a group, also I’m a very good listener. I love to hear everyone’s point of view. I am a energetic person and get excited about group projects. I am quite thick skinned so can take constructive criticism well and will not be offended. I am good at making decisions and putting them into practise. I am also very good at offering help for those who need it.

Weaknesses

One of my weaknesses is focus sometimes i find it hard to sit and listen for a long period of time because i get to easily distracted. Another weakness I have is speaking my mind this is bad because sometimes the truth is not always the best for someone to hear.

Opportunities

One opportunity I have is working part time while doing my degree, I work at the CO-OP i believe this helps my people skills as i have to deal with all sorts of people. And of course another big opportunity is getting to study my degree so i can enrich my life and hopefully be in a better financial situation.

Threats

My threats would be things that are going to distract me for example games consoles and electrical equipment and home and when it comes to studying friends can sometimes be distracting so I must make sure I don’t get too caught up in what they are doing and instead must focus on the goal which is getting my degree.

V.A.R.K test

After carrying out my V.A.R.K test I discovered Instead of reading from a book or watching a video I am better off listening to what the lecturer is teaching because this is how I learn best. my learning style is known as the aural style. Also I can look at my weakest learning style and see if there is anything is can do to help me learn better in this way because there will be times when the lecturers wont have all the information I need
